Collecting and using personal details of customers, suppliers, and other contractors. We want to draw your attention that we will collect and use the personal details you supply to us because this is necessary to come to a possible agreement with you and to carry it out. This applies to both our (potential) customers as to our suppliers of goods and services.
If you are a (potential) customer of us, we will use your details to be able to send you a quotation, to be able to determine which specifications or wishes a certain business or service have to meet, to be able to supply business to you or carry out work for you, to be able to invoice, and to expediently and efficiently communicate about the implementation aspects of the agreement.
Are you a (potential) supplier or other contractor, your personal details are also required to close and execute the agreement. For sales it is required to be able to inform you about the specifications or desires we have for a certain business or service, to be able to send you a request for quotation, or to place an order with you, to pay your invoices, and to expediently and efficiently communicate about other aspects of the agreement.
You are not obligated to supply us with your personal details. If, however, you do not supply any or insufficient personal details, it could be possible we cannot follow up on aforementioned work.
Transfer to third parties
In connection to the execution of a possible agreement with you, it is possible that we will have to supply your personal details to parties that supply parts, materials, and products to us or that carry out work on our behalf. We are also making use of an external server room for the storage of (parts of) our sales and purchase administration. We are also making use of Microsoft Office, and the accompanying storage possibilities for emails and other files. Because we are using a newsletter mailing list, your details will be forwarded to the provider of this service.
If you have given us permission, we will store the supplied personal details to use in the future to personally inform you per email about our existing and new products, and possibly, make you an offer on these. Each time we send you an advertisement mail, you have the option to let us know you do no longer want this service. Please see the cancellation link underneath each mailing.
Storage time personal details
If you have requested a quotation, but have not become one of our customers, we will store your personal details for one year after our last contact at the most. Also, if we have received a quotation from you, but have not become one of your customers, we will store your personal details for one year after our last contact at the most. Did you become one of our customers, or we a customer of you, we will store your personal details for the length of seven years after the end of the fiscal year in which the agreement with you has been completely fulfilled. The period of seven years match the period we are obligated to keep our administration for the tax authorities. After this period, we will remove your personal details.
You have the right to request us to see your personal details in our system. If there is a cause, you can also request us to complete your personal details or to correct mistakes. You have also the right to ask us to remove your personal details, or to limit the use of your personal details. You can also file a complaint on the collection and use of your data, or file a complaint at the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens. Finally, you can request us for the personal details, or to transfer this data to a third party.
